Last year, 1500 children found hope and healing at our Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic.
We see children with a wide variety of disorders, many of which are co-occurring. Typically, we treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder and bipolar and psychotic disorders.
Freedom House assesses the child and his or her needs and then creates a personalized treatment and counseling plan. Freedom House uses a non-judgmental continuity of family focus to help children recover. This means we include family supports and therapies as a component of the child’s overall plan.
We also conduct community intervention services, traveling to the child during a crisis so he or she receives immediate assistance and care or when in-home visits are appropriate for individual or family therapy.
Since 1974, Freedom House Recovery Center’s mission has been to promote, enhance and support recovery and wellness for individuals of all ages affected by behavioral disorders and illnesses by using a holistic, person-centered approach. Our evidence-based, caring services offer healing, wellness, and a second chance at living a healthy and productive life.
