Troy’s journey began with years of addiction, trauma, and homelessness, leaving him searching for a different path forward. After finding Freedom House Recovery Center, he discovered the structure, community, and support he needed to rebuild his life one step at a time. Today, Troy serves others as a crisis counselor, husband, and minister, using his story as living proof that lasting recovery is possible.
